“Beyond the Lens” Exhibition

From October 29th to November 30th, 2016, a widespread exhibition will showcase the prize-winning photographs and the best captures of the 2016 edition of Siena International Photography Awards in different venues throughout the historic center of Siena. Ten themes:
Open Theme Color and Monochrome; Travel Photography: a collection of memories and travel adventures as well as fantastic Street Photography; People and Portrait: a roundup of glances and people expressions captured during the experiences around the world by each author; Nature: landscapes and natural beauty that will leave you breathless; Wildlife: animals photographed in their natural environment, caught while eating, caring for their young ones, or fighting to defend their territories; Architecture: a representation of architecture, urban landscapes, buildings and monuments; Sport: an exciting selection of images of professional and amateur sport photography capturing distinctive actions Wine, in any stage of its life cycle: from vineyards to the cellars, winery processing, packaging, distribution, marketing, to the unrepeatable joy of a glass of wine!. Storyboard: stories related to nature, wildlife, the environment and territory, through a set of images with an incredible artistic, journalistic, and cultural significance. The exhibition will also present a solo show of one or more photographers, members from the panel of judges of the Siena International Photography Awards contest, who collaborate with National Geographic Magazine.
